SU! card class

Friday night I went to a SU! card class put on by my friend, Brandy. We had a raucous good time as always. And jokingly advised as each was leaving, that what happens at card class, stays at card class.

Above is my first embedded embossing project. Where you attach DSP designer series paper to card stock and then run the whole thing through a Sizzix or Cuttlebug in an embossing folder.

The nature card is my first use of flocking. That was fun and a great affect. We also colored using a blender pen touched to an ink pad.

These are two beautiful bright and spring-y cards. The pink is called a bendy card. Very unique.

Close up of the bright floral card. We pop dotted up one flower and the butterfly.

This is the bendy card close up. We used the Hope stamp set that is currently being sold with partial proceeds going to a breast cancer charity. Very pretty.

Another detail shot of the bendy card. We cut a slit in the back piece of the card, and one slit in the larger of the fold over front pieces. Both front flap pieces have a tab that slides into the slits creating the arched detail.

Find inspiration everywhere! Go... Create something fun & fabulous. Enjoy!
